#️⃣ Hashtag Generator

Get relevant, platform-optimized hashtags for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X and LinkedIn in English, Arabic or Urdu.

How the hashtag generator works

Enter one or more keywords that describe your post, separated by commas — for example coffee, morning, cafe. Choose the platform and the language, then click Generate hashtags. The tool builds variations around each keyword (such as #coffeelover, #coffeedaily or #coffeecommunity), adds broad discovery tags that are popular in your chosen language, and appends platform-specific tags like #fyp for TikTok or #shorts for YouTube. It then trims the list to the number that works best on that platform.

You get three copy-ready blocks: the full recommended set, a broad group for reach, and a niche group for targeted discovery. Copy whichever suits your strategy.

How many hashtags should you use?

Every platform treats hashtags differently. Instagram allows up to 30 hashtags, and a mix of 10–30 relevant tags remains effective for discovery, especially for new accounts. TikTok works best with 3–8 focused hashtags because the caption space is limited and the algorithm relies mainly on video content. YouTube Shorts uses hashtags for search and shows the first three above the title, so around 10 is plenty. Facebook and LinkedIn favor just 3–5, and on X one to three is ideal — more looks spammy. The generator follows these guidelines automatically.

Broad vs. niche hashtags

Broad hashtags such as #love or #explore have millions of posts. They can bring a quick burst of views, but your post disappears from them within minutes. Niche hashtags like #coffeelatteart or #riyadhcafe have fewer posts, but the people who browse them are genuinely interested, so they are more likely to follow, comment and buy. The smartest strategy combines both: a few broad tags for reach and many niche tags for quality engagement.

Arabic and Urdu hashtags

If your audience is in Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Egypt or Pakistan, local-language hashtags are a powerful way to appear in regional searches and explore pages. Arabic hashtags use an underscore instead of spaces (for example #عشاق_القهوة), and the tool formats them this way for you. Urdu tags work the same way. Location tags such as #الرياض or #لاہور help local businesses get found by nearby customers. Mixing a few English tags with local-language ones lets you reach both audiences.

Hashtag best practices

  • Stay relevant. Only use tags that genuinely describe your content; irrelevant tags can reduce reach.
  • Rotate your sets. Using the exact same block on every post can look automated. Generate a fresh set each time.
  • Create a branded hashtag. A unique tag like #YourBrandMoments helps collect user content.
  • Check banned tags. Occasionally a popular tag gets restricted due to spam; search it before using it.
  • Track results. Instagram Insights shows how many impressions came from hashtags — keep the ones that perform.

Where to place hashtags

On Instagram you can put hashtags at the end of the caption or in the first comment; both are indexed. On TikTok and Shorts keep them in the caption. On LinkedIn, place two or three at the end of the post. Whatever you choose, make sure the caption itself still reads naturally — pair this tool with our caption generator for a complete post.

Frequently asked questions

Is the hashtag generator free?

Yes, completely free and unlimited, with no sign-up.

Are these the most popular hashtags?

The tool combines widely used discovery tags with keyword variations. Because it works offline in your browser it does not pull live statistics, so treat the results as a well-structured starting list and check trending tags in the app if needed.

Can I use multiple keywords?

Yes. Separate them with commas or spaces; the tool will build variations for each and also join them into a combined tag.

Do hashtags still work in 2026?

Yes — they help platforms categorize your content and power search, even if the algorithm relies more on content signals than before.
